BTC Stringz
Stringz is the college music club which encourages and provides an opportunity to those students who are passionate about music. The college Prayer Song is designed and orchestrated by the members of the music club.

BTC Creative Ornamental Design and Training Club
Headed by Mrs. Susan Paul, the club members learn to design beautiful ornaments. The students are trained to understand and utilize the principle of size, symmetry and colour to design the ornaments. They try out a new design and a new colour combination thus building up creativity at the same time enjoying the activity.

Rotaract Club
The Rotaract Club has started functioning as a Unit in the College. It has been an initiative of Rotary Club, Koothattukulam.
BTC MahilaMitram
As a part of the International Women’s Day Celebrations, JWALA 2012” was inaugurated at Baselios Thomas I Catholicose College of Engineering & Technology, Koothattukulam on 8th March 2012. A short-term certification course booklet was released by Smt. Shirley Stephen, Pampakuda Block Panchayath President, on this occasion in the College seminar hall. The Principal Dr. Ranjit Abraham handed over the brochure of ”JWALA 2012” to the Panchayat Presidents – Adv. Ms. Seena Johnson of Koothattukulam, Mr. Ramakrishnan Nair of Veliyannoor, Ms. Annamma Andrews of Elangi, Ms. Molly Peter of Ramapuram, Ms. Beena James of Thirumaradi and Ms. Usha Sreekumar of Palakuzha Grama Panchayats.
The objective of this unique short-term program is to educate and train rural women in Proper House Keeping, Health Care and Sanitation, Fire & Safety Measures, Computers & e-forms and Electronic appliances at free of cost. The entire program expenses are being co-sponsored by Rotary Club, Koothattukulam. The entire training shall be carried out by experts. The short-term training program shall be held in the college campus and individual practical sessions shall be conducted. At the end of the training, all successful women trainees shall be awarded with certificates.

BTCC Snehatheeram
A community service club, BTCC Snehatheeram was launched on 23rd December 2012, constituting both students and employees of the Institute as it members. This club aims at providing a common platform where students and employees can share their time, expertise and resources for the benefit of the community. Various community programs are undertaken by the members for the welfare of the poor and the less fortunate.
The club is presently coordinated by Associate Professor Aann Smita Abraham and constitutes 3 faculty, 2 staff and 48 students. The BTC Snehatheeram club meets every Second and Fouth Friday in the Seminar Hall of the College. As a motto, BTC Snehatheeram decided to hold at least one community service program every month.
A visit to “Kunjachen Missionary Bhavan for Mentally Challenged Men”, Ramapuram was the first program undertaken by the club. The club is also planning on the anvil – a blood donation camp and free eye check-up camp. More ventures will be planned in the coming months.
