The Baselios Empowerment Scholarship Test (BEST-13) for Plus Two students shall be held at 11.am to 1.00 pm on 19th May 2013 at the Institute. This test is to promote smart students to do their Engineering in the desired branches of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science. Qualified students will be eligible to study in the Institution under full scholarship / reduced fee scheme. All those candidates having (expecting to have) 60% aggregate marks in their HSC/CBSE examinations can register in the college before 3.00 pm, 18th May 2013. The test will comprise of 100 objective questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 2 hours. There will be no negetive marks. All registered candidates shall report positively by 10.45 am on 19-05-2013. The test results shall be published on the website on or before 10th June 2013. Details of Scholarship

• First 5 Ranked students get all 4 years Tuition Fee Waiver
• Second 5 Ranked Students get all 4 years each Rs. 20,000 Tuition Fee Waiver
• Third 5 Ranked Students get all 4 years each Rs. 10,000 Tuition Fee Waiver

Normal classes shall be suspended for S1S2 and S4 students from 30th April 2013 onwards for preparation of University Exams May/June commensing from 17th May 2013. All students may note from the respective Department Notices regarding availability of Faculty during the Study Leave period. Students are encouraged to come to college in Uniform during these days for clarifying doubts with available faculty.

Soft-skills training for all students (Semester 1&2 as well as Semester 4) are scheduled on 4 Saturdays namely 2^nd March, 16^th March, 23^rd March and 6^th April 2013.  Please note that Softskill sessions shall be conducted in batches and shall be of 3 hours duration and rest of the day will have regular BTech classes. Participation is mandatory and absence shall be intimated to Parents.

BTC College participated in the Arts and Science exhibition "Scintilla" held at T.M Jacob Memorial college, Manimalakunnu on 3 & 4 January 2013. Several hundreds of students and public visited our stall.
